Nearly 60 members and their guests enjoyed an evening of dinner and dancing at the 2022 Commodore’s Ball. The black tie event was held at Channel Side on March 3, 2022,
After a cocktail hour with passed hors d’oeuvres, the group assembled for a brief program to honor Commodore Donella Crawford and all the Past Commodore’s in attendance.
Flager County Sheriff Rick Staly, who served as one of the Grand Marshalls for the PCYC Holiday Boat Parade, was our special guest along with his wife, Debbie. Sheriff Staly shared information about a brand new Sheriff’s Boat delivered by Boston Whaler just one day earlier.
The buffet dinner gave our many newer members a chance to visit with long-time members. Many stories were exchanged about the club’s past in the building where the event was held. There was also conversation about some of the exciting boating and social event on the calendar.
After dinner there was dancing — all kinds of dancing. Line dances, fast dances, congo lines and more
There was even a bit of karaoke!
In the end, it was a great evening for celebrating with friends.
