In an Easter Bonnet, with the all the frills upon it,
They were the grandest ladies in the Easter Parade.
Okay, technically it probably wasn’t a parade. There was only one boat. But it was decorated, and festive and it brought smiles, waves and compliments from people all along the Palm Coast canals.
The “parade” started from the Potochick dock just before noon on the Saturday before Easter 2023. The weather was just about perfect for an afternoon on the water. The captain had bunny ears until he went on plane in the ICW and they were suddenly gone with the wind.
There was an Easter-themed music playlist. The group visited the docks of several members who live on the canals. Neighbors came out to wave and wish the group a Happy Easter.
The afternoon ended with a potluck lunch on the pool deck at the Potochick home. Plans are already underway to do it again next year.
