The first event after the Opening Day of our new Clubhouse was “Sip, Sip Hooray,” a wine tasting and quiz.
Members were invited to taste small samples of five pairs of wines and then answer a question about each pair. The bottles were hidden in burlap bags, so we had to use the color, aroma and taste of the wines to make our choices.
For instance, among the white wines we were asked to choose which was a German Riesling.
Among one of the pairs of reds, we were challenged to select the one that had the aroma of mocha
It was a great way to spend some time with friends on our new facility.
