Members of Palm Coast Yacht Club talked with more than 100 visitors to our booth at this year’s Creekside Music Festival. There was good music, good food and a great opportunity to spread the word about our active club and upcoming Holiday Boat Parade.
The weather was near perfect for the two-day event October 9th and 10th. Eleven PCYCers donned their club polos or Hawaiian shirts to hand out leis and club information during shifts at the event.
The lei’s had the friendly message: BOAT OR NO BOAT: We would be de-lei-ted to welcome you to our Fun Fleet!
Pictures of past Holiday Boat Parades caught the attention of many of those walking by. There was lots of interest and plenty of questions about this year’s parade. We passed out several registration forms to boaters who said they were looking forward to decorating their boats and joining in the fun. Others wanted information on the best places to watch.
There was also a lot of interest in joining our group of merry boaters.
Bill Sulser, Candy Schmidt, Barbara Kipnis, Barry Kipnis, Andy Boothe, Sarah Ulis, Robert Ulis, Linda Osborn, Bernita Moulton, Judy Sulser and Donella Crawford were among those who volunteered to represent PCYC. All members were invited to join us and we hope even more members sign up if we do this again next year.
